TRACK ODYSSEY AT SEA
http://www.marinetraffic.com/
ais/
This website tracks ships around the world if they are equipped with AIS. On Odyssey our AIS works whenever our radar is turned on. As long as you know approximately where we are in the world, you can locate and track us.

We are now in Crescent City, California near the Oregon border. Crescent City is known for the Redwood forests nearby and the difficult sea conditions that prevail between here and San Francisco. We stopped here last night after 14 hours at sea from Coos Bay. Conditions were tough with seas of 6-9 feet with 6 second periods. Winds were sustained at 25 knots. While in Coos Bay we took a few days and traveled the Umpqua Valley and its wineries, then to historic Jacksonville
distinguished as the only entire town registered on the National Historic Register, and then to the Shakespear Festival in Ashland, which was terrific. Tonight we leave for San Francisco.
August 29 -- The picture shows us tied up to a log at Butedale, B.C. Although the town was literally falling down into the sea, we found it a fun little place where we met some wonderful people and learned more about the history of British Columbia. We have placed several pictures on the web.
